During the 1950's through the 1970's Duval was designing and executing numerous hand forged enamel on copper pieces - giving lecture / demonstrations at different colleges, art associations and festivals on enamel techniques, as well as watercolor technique.
1948 Greek Theater in Griffith Park - The Fourth  Annual City of Los Angeles Art Exhibit  (watercolor - 1st  award)

1988  "Duval Eliot in Retrospect" exhibition held in her Home / Studio in Whiting  Woods, Glendale.  During 1993-2002  (after her demise Aug.30, 1990) Tirage Art  Gallery in Glendale and The George Stern Fine Art Gallery in Beverly Hills represented and sold some of her work
2002 - 2003   (Dec. 6 to Feb 15)  "The Lost Classics of Duval Eliot" held at the former Pasadena School of Fine Art - the remaining estate of paintings in watercolor, oil and acrylic, portraits, life drawings, pen & ink with guache, serigraphy and illustrations from throughout her prolific 57 year career.
2015   (March 14 - August 31)  "The Lost Classics of Duval Eliot – A Retrospective" held at Rock Rose Gallery in Highland Park, Los Angeles - the remaining estate of paintings in watercolor, oil and acrylic, portraits, life drawings, pen & ink with guache, serigraphy and illustrations from throughout her prolific 57 year career.
